Ardmore Craig, the Darlington based innovative design engineering consultancy is delighted to announce its 150th contract award.
Despite the troubles within the oil & gas sector, the offshore focussed business has continued to add new clients and win new work scopes.
The latest award from an existing customer covers the design and build of cable handling equipment and upgrading of a previously supplied lay spread that will be used on an offshore wind farm.
Director Andrew Stevenson commented “that this was another significant milestone for the business demonstrating the success of the long term relationships it has built with clients who continually come back for its rapidly engineered solutions”.
The 150th contract win comes on the back of another recent design and build award for cable handling equipment with over 100 tonnes of new build equipment now in manufacture.
Stevenson added “With the latest project underway we will have our equipment designs in operation at five separate locations around Europe associated with the construction of four separate wind farms. This is a tremendous achievement and a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our design team to provide solutions in rapid timescales”.
