Ardmore Craig Ltd, the Darlington based offshore technology company is delighted to announce a contract award from its client for the design of a shallow water cable lay and beach pull in spread.
The customised deck spread includes two chutes, a subsea quadrant with support frame, tensioner grillages and auxiliary equipment. The work scope also includes the seafastening design for the full system.
The equipment will be used on a future interconnector project.
Director Andy Stevenson added that “this latest contract is the second cable spread award this quarter and marks the ninth cable lay spread the business has undertaken” highlighting the capabilities, experience and proven track record of the Ardmore Craig team.
