Utilising its design and 3D printing knowledge, Ardmore Craig have been commissioned to develop and test a series of models representing the launching sequence for a subsea tool. The work will involve modelling and manufacture of a series of models which will then be tested and filmed with comparisons made between the behaviour of different systems prior to implementation of the selected design.
Following completion of the work Director Andrew Stevenson commented “our in house design experience coupled with the prototyping tools we have at our disposal allow us to develop and test ideas prior to fabrication, in this case assisting our client prove a concept to their client whilst still at the design stage”.
