Ardmore Craig Ltd, the Darlington based engineering design and consultancy business is celebrating two contracts wins from the offshore oil and gas sector complimenting a series of work scopes recently awarded from the renewables industry.

The latest wins include a design scope associated with a North Sea drilling rig following previous work on the vessel last year and the structural design and analysis of a pressurised pipeline system to be installed on an FPSO in the Far East.

Director Andy Stevenson commented that “it was pleasing to see an increase in enquiries and contracts from the oil and gas sector and the geographical reach of the projects the Ardmore Craig team were involved with”.

The pressure system design work will be undertaken for a project in Malaysian waters and marks the 20th country the Ardmore Craig team has supplied designs to and follows on from a design scope for a processing facility in Mozambique earlier in the year.
