2D & 3D Draughting Services:

Our Draughting team at Ardmore Craig are very experienced in the creation of technical drawings. They are also capable of creating CAD models to suit any requirements and specifications given. All of our engineers pride themselves on their attention detail.

Our engineers are competent in using AutoDesk Inventor for 3D modelling & draughting and AutoCAD software for 2D draughting, giving Ardmore Craig the ability to use different tools depending on our client requirements and the format of background information.

As part of our draughting service, Ardmore Craig can supply 3D models alongside drawing packages. A drawing package usually contains a top level general arrangement, assembly drawings and fabrication drawings. The fabrication drawings Ardmore Craig produce are easy to read, showing all required tolerances, welds and surface finishes. They also include individual plate profiles and section details improving the efficiency and time for manufacturing operations.

We also offer our in-house team of design engineers and draughtsmen to other companies that don’t have their own in-house capabilities. Typical customers of this service include fabricators or machine shops that need existing drawings verified or updated and other engineering companies that need additional support beyond their current capacity.
